Friendly staff

Clean

This is a great library! It's quiet and good for studying but also has a separate children's area that's perfect for the kiddos. They have a play area, computers, puppets, and, of course, books!

Although they have a wide selection of books

Staffs are nice. Bad management/Boss. Invest in an anti-theft device. Our tax money is not for you to buy books, CD, etc just to have them stolen. This library needs to have a police officer near by. I have seen teens acting up and shady people in this library. Tutors are noisy. Get a good police officer to kick their ass.

Great library. I'm glad it allows you to also get library cards with two other nearby libraries. Of course, I recommend they create a consortium or join one to provide more access to items & for convenience sake. They allow you to inter library loan items from all over the state-OKC libraries. You have to go into the library in order to have them fill out the form so I've not done this because I don't have the time. They have access to Ancestry.com which is great! They also have a lot of access to ebooks & online audio books. They get new current movies & some new TV series which I've made a lot of use of. It's "free" and you can have them for longer then Redbox & Family Video. Classic/older movies too. CDs-old and mostly country or childrens. They have a lot of popular new series and authors along with classic authors. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have fax, color printing and free internet access/wifi. It is connected to a lot of community spaces like a playground and ballpark so there are a LOT of kids in and out of the library daily. So it is a bit nosier at certain times of the day. Also, the kids all come there to buy soda so good luck trying to pay a fine or check out your items at the desk when they arrive. There is selfcheck out which is really easy to use. You can choose to email the receipt to yourself, renew items, check what you have out, etc. No one mans the reference/information desk so if you have a question about a series or a research question it's hit or miss if you will get an actual Librarian or someone who has any research skills. There is no way to tell. Overall, great library for the growing area and for a state that clearly doesn't value libraries.

Being right next to the court house doesn't prevent theft.

This library is a favorite of ours. Kind and helpful employees. Clean. Huge enclosed children's area. Wonderful children's story times. It is always quiet when we go there.

well organized
